MUI THAI

MUI THAI
MUI THAI Game Boy Advance cartridge

A Game Boy Advance beat-’em-up starring Mui, a shiba inu from Osaka who just wants his treats back.

Game Boy Advance5 streets, 5 fightsOriginal 4-channel score
Story panel: Mui kept every treat he earned in his treat bag

The story

Every day, Mui trained. Every day, he earned his treats — kept safe in one bag, tied at the neck, heaped to the brim. Then Don Neko came in the night and took all of it.

Five comic panels open the game before a single punch is thrown, scored with an original pentatonic soundtrack built for the GBA’s own sound hardware — two square waves, a noise channel standing in for taiko drums.

Five streets. Five fights. One dog who doesn’t stop.

Every button does something

The full GBA pad is in play — walk, jump, crouch, punch, kick, block, dash and a meter-charged special.
